The Nursing team at Oakview Manor consists of highly trained Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.
Whether the need is for long term nursing care due to illness, injury, or disease process or short term skilled care, our Nursing Department provides nursing care 24 hours per day. Our staff provides assistance with simple tasks such as walking, eating, toileting and dressing to more complex care such as Medication Administration, Wound Care, IV Therapy, Respiratory Care to name a few.
The Restorative Nursing Department consists of a Licensed Nurse and Certified Nursing Assistants who are specially trained to provide restorative nursing care. This Department works to assist residents to maintain their current level of function or help them restore their prior level of function.
Our Care Plan Nurses work with residents and their families to develop an individualized plan of care based on residents needs and desires. The nursing staff assists residents with the transition as they move through the different levels of care.
Our facility has a Wound Care Nurse who has specialized training to provide the care required for acute and or chronic wounds and other skin conditions.
The Director of Education provides training for our nursing staff to ensure that they are kept abreast of the most current treatments and training available. Our facility also trains and test Nursing Assistants to become Certified Nursing Assistants.
